Installing Kodi on whooshbuild v5

So after finding out that my firestick interfers with my hdmi signal when it's on (whilst watching any channels on my box).

Is there anyway of installing the likes of exodus onto my box or Kodi.

I've looked on various YouTube guides, but can't find tuts to follow.

My firestick is right next to my box and the hdmi is less than an inch away no problems, try a different cable?
