Internet Service Provider and IPTV

changing provider wont change your exchange
every provider I spoke to said 25 was the max I could get, but being practical I'd be lucky to get 20,
eventually TT business guaranteed me 15 minimum, but you really dont want to know how much I pay :grimacing:
Extausian price I bet for business bb

Like your way of thinking mate as far as I'm aware this is what an engineer told me there's 2 separate parts in exchange a fibre part and standard bb part it could be the same exchange it's a bit of a tough situation for you with the fault been the exchange you could always ask if it's the same exchange but doubt they would be able to exactly say

Avoid BT, Talktalk, EE.
Sky, Plusnet, AA, Zen are better internal routing, last mile is what OpenReach give you, nothing can change that.
Maybe a Ex-BT guy, re-doing your wiring, crimp ends etc. might get another 1-5mb, thats all.

Sky fibre for me, been with them for three years. Avoid talk talk and bt worse service ever and shite Indian call centres. Sky are unlimited and not throttled at all

I know where you are going wrong stuss. Urdu speakers tend to be from Pakistan. The majority of India speak Hindi, although they should understand your pigeon Urdu a little bit. The missis is a Hindi speaker and I am forced to watch at least one Bollywood film a week on my IPTV, and even after all these years, I still can only say hello goodbye and shut up, so I hope that you learn quicker than me

Going back to the original question:

I had Sky basic for a year, and never had a problem with IPTV unless I had two others watching youtube clips at the same time. Sky wouldn't upgrade me to fibre for a decent price, so I switched to the dreaded VF. Two months in, and I get 35Mb whenever I check it, and have had no problems so far with IPTV even when others are streaming on youtube.

If I have to call them, I will ask the wife to speak on my behalf.
