I recently changed my broadband to fibre. Im now finding it hard to connect to my box via blackbox pro. Before I changed they both had the same IP address now they have different ones. The box is 9 but the blackbox app is 8. Any suggestions on how to get them both having the same IP.
 
all lan devices should have a different ip address should they not ??usually when you want to connect sat box put ip addy into black box pro and connect,
maybe similar to webif on pc can access e2 boxes.
 
Both should have 192.168.0.9 but the box has 192.168.0.9 and the app has 192.168.0.8 soit will not connect. Ive put the correct IP address into the app but will not connect. It only connects when I put the 0.8 in plays for a few seconds than disconnects. Hope this makes sense.
 
yes it wont connect as its different,dbedit is another program you setup for each box with a set ip,last night i went to do something and noticed it was wrong so i had to go through the settings from scratch and store again.
so maybe your black box has to be reconfigured and saved?
