But in the past month every time there’s a live game on I lose everything and then it normally all comes back to normal some time later..
Before I do anything and look for new supplier maybe..I just want to confirm that it is/I am now being ip blocked or something..I’m on B.T.

If there is a DDoS attack on any one of the servers in your IPTV suppliers chain your screen will go blank only during live play. So if the half time punditry comes back on then it is certain that your IP has not been restricted.
 
I would have thought the simplest answer would be to get s sub where you don't need a VPN, I've got two and never had to use a VPN on them! and BT have never blocked me, just saying !!

The OP is partway into a sub which is being blocked, he'd have to write off his remaining subscription to go get a new sub with no guarantee that one won't suffer blocks at a later date too.

I'm with BT and have been blocked on occasions.

Still simpler to change sub!! Than setting up special VPN arrangements or adding extra routers / devices, in my own opinion that is.
I use VPN for Netflix and Torrents but not subs!!

Yes, more simple to change subs. But as I said, there's no guarantee that the next sub won't suffer blocks.
 
Either way you look at it just because 1 person never been blocked dosnt mean to say Joe budden up north won't get blocked but there's always a chance no matter what lol

No I was joking, the point I was wanting to make was BT don't block! unless you enable the smart bit! That's straight from my BT engineer neighbour !

True that's why it's best to disable all firewalls on router if I turn sly shield on it blocks me out automatically with no footy on pmsl

Don't keep quoting me I don't want a debate! Could have been 4? I went Sky BT SKy BT no block anywhere! Most people use Sky/ BT with IPTV I know!

Stop posting false information then. BT are bound by a court order which requires them to block iptv streams of EPL and CL football matches.

So they comply with that court order.
