Facetime - wonderful when you can get it to work.
I have been trying to get facetime to work and having no joy looked on youtube for help.
After looking at various vids i came across one that mentioned wifi.
I now realise - and maybe others dont that you MUST have wifi connection on and have a wifi connection for it to work.
So when my son comes home i will get him to turn on wifi and see if we can get it to connect.
We are on 3 network so cannot connect to any of the bt open or 02 wifi connections ( as far as i know) but according to vids ive watched if your on 02 you can connect to almost any wifi in the area as there are ( suppose according to your area) lots of bt open and 02 wifi connections around.
But why does it need wifi??? There must be a reason why it needs a wifi connection and not just your phone providers network for this to work. A video call which i think you an get on lots of phones works on your providers network - why is facetime so different.
