Ipod touch 2nd generation headphones in the jack and sound only comes out of one ear

Hey guys I know its not officially Iphone but I got an Ipod touch 2nd generation and I got a major problem. I put my headphones in the jack and sound only comes out of one ear unless I endlessly mess with the jack. I know its not the headphones because I tested multiple headphones.
Can anyone suggest a reliable repair company or something I could do because apple want £110 for the repair!

sorry just seen this. Sorry but no one will touch it other than Apple. If its a problem they should sort it out if its under warranty,but if you have not paid for extra warranty then not much you can do. as ive found you cant insure your ipod with anyone but apple, and they are the only place that will repair it, but have you tried apple earphoneas just sounds strange if its coming out of 1 ear each tiem u try different earphone is it always same ear? if its internal then you got no choice but to take it to apple shop
