A couple of weeks ago I replaced 2 damaged ipod 4th gen screens. One of them was totally smashed and not working at all, the other had cracked front glass but the lcd was ok. After the repairs were done the smashed one lit up with a totally white screen, and I tried hard reseting it,updating with itunes,letting the battery run out fully then charging overnight. Nothing worked so I presumed the board had been damaged or something else inside. After replacing the screen on the one with the cracked glass all was well and working fine. Just found out today that this also has now gone totally white after a few weeks. Anyone had this problem or know the cause?
