I wonder if any of you can help a novice like me fully understand all this technology?
I live in Spain and currently have a community Sat system getting all the FTA content from the UK, however as it's is illegal to have a Sky sub over here (although I know many people do) the alternative is iPTV.
I have tried the free KODI stuff but found it difficult to actually get to the programs I want to watch, and also the quality can be poor especially when watching sport although I have enough speed from my Broadband supplier (at least 10meg most of the day but never dropping below 9m).
So I was looking at getting a specific box and paying for a subscription service, but am not sure what box I should go for and am not sure if all the boxes are running on an android system.
So my question really is this: is iPTV the same system as KODI and what would be the best box to purchase?
I have seen the Mag254 but think I should go for a quad processessor. But really am a novice so do not fully understand the technology involved.
