IPTV EPG PLUGIN

Buccaneer

Newbie
Hi everyone, just got myself an IPTV subscription. Loaded everything via Echanneliser onto a Zgemma H2s Also loaded suls/e2m3u bouquets. It has done a superb job of auto arranging the bouquets. But I have encountered a problem with the EPG side. On searching for an EPG importer (somehow my box dose not already have this as a plugin) I found this.... enigma2-plugin-extensions-epgimport_1.0+git116-20160721_all.ipk. On installing it, it appears to have one error. Consequently the EPG dose not work. Reading the guide on this Forum site, it suggests downloading EPGIMPORT from plugin feeds.
Thats the background now for the tricky part!
Is the code for the epgimport extension correct?
Is "plugin feeds" still operational ? As my Google search revealed nothing.
Is there a better option for EPG Importing?:):)

iptv-epg.com

and

xtream-editor.com

are two zgemma friendly solutions. small annual fee and about 30mins - 1.30hr set up time depending on background. but once you are set they are very good.

some providers also provide an epg script, but i have no experience of them

Hi teddybloat, thank you for the info will have a look, see if I can get them to work.:👍::👍:

You go into menu plugins press green to download plugins then extensions I think and epg importer is in there and if your iptv set up correctly and using script or username and password then you can import the iptv guide to your normal epg

Thank you for the suggestion, when I press the green button to download, there is no menu to download extensions. The trail goes cold from there.

Couldn't say mate I just used epg import for mine but that's what my supplier told me to use i know a lot of people have used xtream editor
Do you know the website for epg import? I have tried to locate it on the internet. My supplier uses Echanneliser, the EPG can be added but its very lacking. I have used suls for the bouquet maker, its very good. I would like to find the EPG importer mentioned in the guide.

Listen get a supplier that offers a putty script for enigma2 (Zgemma i55 or higher) that will incorporate epg and bouquets, and make life hassle free for yourself and the Mrs, all these firesticks, apps, pp, Kodi, etc are just hassle and gimmicky,

Hi arkles, thank you for your help. I have a zgemma H2s which is about 16 months old, my supplier uses Echanneliser and suggested that I use www.suls.co.uk/enigma2-iptv-bouquets-with-epg/ I have installed it, the bouquets works fantastically, very happy with that part. However, the EPG side does not work. All the guides say get an EPG from "plugin feeds" thats the bit I'm struggling with, I cant seem to find it:(

Your supplier should provide you with an EPG url... You use that URL with the plugin, and it matches the channels with the epg by using the tvg-id...

Thank you to every one for your help with trying to find a solution to my problem. With a lot of research and reading (quite a lot of it via techkings) I now have a working mut@nt HD1200. As is stated the box isn't bricked just because of software problems. The box is very very fussy about which usb drive is used. I got a brand new scandisc. I have re-formatted others that had been used, even hddguru didn't help. The image I used was from ipab, followed their instructions to the letter. The good thing about the ipab the file is written for zgemma and one of the files is force, which appears to be a major contributor to success. The images will files written in noforce seen to cause problems.:):):👍:
