not looked into this yet so guess its time for those questions for e2 boxes.
is iptv all the same or like sat many variants to load?

different ways of loading the files as easiest is filezilla client
others mention telnet and putty.

Yea there's plenty of info the main issue is epg some providers support enigma2 some dont.

I'll post a few threads.

XC PLUGIN - Plugin that allows you to use your url link

http://techkings.org/threads/how-to-assign-epg-to-iptv-streams.120096/ that will help you adding epg data plus you can use echannelizer to bouquets while adding epg

There's also XTream TV similar to xc plugin but provides epg data
