Hi ive downloaded it once before and found it in downloads already. Have copied it to usb..but unsure what to do next.?

Hi
Its says "No new channels to add"
Ive "populated" the home media category before. Its a 256. And I understand the 256 has glitchy firmware.. it only records for 30 seconds. The 254 has different firmware. So i wasted my money..until the firmware is fixed. Ive downloaded the latest fware.
