IPTV server question

SM32

Newbie
Hey guys,
I`m a bit quite vague on this but when going through discussions in the past, a lot of people have mentioned that it is better to get a subs from one reseller who would have their own servers.
There was a name floating around online where people mentioned that there is a company all major IPTV providers get their subs from (something along those lines).

Can anyone pm me with more info on this or provide any explanations to newbies like us in terms of what best to look for when choosing.

Thanks

No one owns their own streams

Named providers like SUPERFASTZERO DOWNTIME-IPTV pay 1000s per month to companies like Xtreme Codes for access to streams. The more expensive the stream, the more reliable and vise versa.

Then super-duper IPTV.com sell access to resellers to trawl the forums.

Note most named providers can't be assed trawling forums, doling out 24hr tests to time wasters and then following up for 10 p/month subs.

So the real sources have no interest in serving any less than wholesale numbers for huge sums.

People asking for no resellers would get no offers of provision if people took them at their word

Hi, you really want to go to somebody who runs a server.

There are re sellers who buy in bulk at a discount, they usually buy from cheap unstable servers.

They have no control over the quality as they are just middle men earning a few quid.

They will always tell you it's their server :D:D:D

Price is usually a clue, you generally get what you pay for. So if you see 12 months for £20 you are probably wasting your time.

Don't pay for 12 months without checking them out for a while, a free 24 hr test won't tell you enough.

Going rate is about £80 - 100 a year for a good service, buy a month, if your happy subscribe for longer periods, if you are not try another.

I'm not saying all re sellers are bad but it's best to go direct.

I like resellers.

I've used them in the past, they can often get subs cheaper than the named provider and on more flexible terms.

They are often better at helping you get set up.

I've posted this elsewhere, but:

look for people with reputations to uphold - so here a high post count or status / presence on multiple forums / social media.

Get short subs

Test multiple sources

Don't be afraid of resellers

£80 - £100 a year?!!! - I think its getting competitive and prices are much lower than that

Agree with teddybloat on the above re trying re-sellers. Unlikely a provider trawling forums chasing monthly subs is viable as they would look to resell to resellers in volume.

SM32, a great post you’ve made here because sometimes new people trying to piece everything together can be tricky. For most people trying to find a good provider is a mine-field. You’ll get a lot of people contacting you offering a service so take out trials and see which is best fit for you. If you take a trial, be sure to communicate with the provider, honest helpful feedback is beneficial for both sides.

The problem you find is people are actually wanting the earth but pay very little for it. Normally these are people who are new to the scene.

If people are paying little amounts they need to expect they’ll not get a great service.

“Bees” mentioned a price in the above posts which is accurate.

Generally Anyone wanting or expecting a years service for less than that and for it to be good is dreaming!

Anyone taking out cheaper subs for the year has to really give their heads a wobble or educate themselves further before making a commitment because they won’t get the quality service they pay for.

Competition is fierce on the IPTV scene but a good provider won’t need to sell cheap access, they’d rather have a repeat custom.

I hope many more people contribute to this post as it will be helpful to provide as much advice for new people as possible.

its like any sales pitch, sell it cheap, get them hooked, then charge a little more thereafter.people will pay more when they know its a good product.

Sales pitch sounds. About right...

Iptv is full of people quite prepared to take your money, and when all goes tits up they disappear. Only to start again once the dust settles.. TK has done imo
A decent job in stopping liberty takers..

There is one exception, dilly. AKA peter dilworth.. He is just one of many without any conscience ...
He frequents, trolls the net looking for victims..

on a related note, you'll see completely ridiculous requests over and over again by the same idiots week in and week out:

I want a glitch-free, freeze-free service, 100% uptime or higher
regularly updated VOD, minimum of 4k quality on ALL channels
two month EPG, must have catchup, must be recordable, subtitles in swahili and will need to be multiroom (6 devices in same household)
24 hour support is essential
must accept bitcoin and be cheap

these people copy and paste the same post over and over again every time Man Utd or Chelsea are playing so they can get a free day's TV and very quickly become blacklisted by the suppliers, just clicking on their usrename and checking posting history will show which ones i mean, 43 posts, 43 iptv requests

Completely agree with you on this...

Noticing a lot of requests lately, my neighbour would like a test, my mate would like a test.... what’s that all about lol

xtream codes do not provide iptv streams, never have, never will.

they provide software to iptv providers and a decent epg , thats it.

i have found the dearer ones harder to work with, they have problems and the old what do you expect for £100 a year, epg is just a extra shut up moaning, its all your end happens more.

the cheaper a year and offer monthlys seem better in my opinion

I have two IPTV lines, one I pay 40 pounds for, the other is a test line from somebody on here , so if anybody complains about this person, I can switch over and see what is happening.

Both run flawlessly, rarely a glitch.

Both are resellers, not owners (resellers aren't all demons).

I have always paid by PayPal , no problem

everyone's needs are different.
if someone wants iptv to watch live football/sports and the movie hd channels but uses freeview or a sat/vm line to watch the likes of coronation street and news at ten, then they don't need a top end supplier as 80 - 90% of their viewing isn't through iptv
if another person has no TV feed at all apart from iptv, so every programme they watch is through that subscription, their experience is going to be different even though both customers may have got a sub from the same supplier, one is going to be happy and the other not so happy

my advice therefore, is if you intend using iptv as your sole form of viewing, take at least two subscriptions with different suppliers as it's not 100% reliable

After you find a trial you are happy with, take a 1 month sub and after a month you will know how good the service is.I always look for one with good support as some have their own support forums so you can check day to day and if you have any issues help is on hand. All IPTV has issues from time to time that's just how it is but there are good ones
out there.

Some use good apps to for support. The best one I’ve had is of here. Been with him for clines and now iptv. Always reply’s. But like said above most of my stuff is watched on free view on my zgemma and flicked over for the kids stuff movies etc

£80 - £100 a year?!!! - I think its getting competitive and prices are much lower than that

I think that price is about right for a full sky package, 3pm footy, porn channels (if that's what floats your boat :D:D:D) and VOD.

Prices differ because they offer different packages, if you want something a bit more basic you can pay less.

As I say, it's just ballpark and I can only go off my own experience.

I'm not having a go at re sellers, all I'm saying is there are probably more bad ones out there than good, so if you
don't want to trawl round forever, going direct to a server should get you sorted with a decent service quicker.
