IPTV Subscription with sly skin

Hi Guys just signed up as needing some help.

I have iptv subscription on a zgemma H5.2S and the quality is excellent the issue i have is that i have to use xtream and its not user friendly for the wife. is there any way that i can add a sky skin to this so it works like sky?

On the facebook page that the my iptv provider uses it looks like someone has created this but cant get it to work:

https://www.suls.co.uk/enigma2-iptv-bouquets-with-epg/

Can this actually be done (iptv subscription with all hd but done so it looks like sky)

got your pm thats exactly what im trying to get to, but not sure what you mean by remove putty code and remove providers name?

New to this so not sure if what i am doing is correct.

Heres the instructions they gave from that link:

How do i use it?

  • ftp the e2m3u2bouquet.py to your engima2 box (i would suggest to /home/root)
  • ssh to your enigma2 box (using putty or something similar)
  • cd to the correct directory if you are not already there
I used filezilla and sent the e2m3u2bouquet.py to /home/root

I then used command below in putty for ssh:
opkg install http://149.56.14.45:1000/enigma2/epicstream1.0_mips32el.ipk

and below is what putty then came back with:

Downloading http://149.56.14.45:1000/enigma2/epicstream1.0_mips32el.ipk.
Refusing to load file '/var/cache/opkg/6eba1f3846ca609e3a0f73f9d9fa99c9_epicstream1.0_mips32el.ipk' as it matches the installed version of XtreamTV (0.0.1).
Unknown package 'http://149.56.14.45:1000/enigma2/epicstream1.0_mips32el.ipk'.
Collected errors:
* opkg_solver_install: Cannot install package http://149.56.14.45:1000/enigma2/epicstream1.0_mips32el.ipk.

Not sure if thats correct?

Can you point me in the right direction or to better instructions?

If all you want is the Sly skin, go into Menu - plugins - green button to install new plugins - scroll down to skins - look for the slyq skin option, press ok to download.

Then Menu - setup - usage & gui - skin setup. You should find your new skin there for you to install on your box.

im not 100% sure on this but is ipk files for plugins and not via boquets contact your provider and ask them if they have a putty code as most providers do

ok removed the subscribers name as requested. Chris noon - i have the sky skin on the box but as im wanting to use it for iptv so that i can get all channels in hd.

1sly - have messaged my iptv provider what you wrote above so see what they say.

However previously i have been directed to the instructions at: https://www.suls.co.uk/enigma2-iptv-bouquets-with-epg/

this tells me to:
  • ftp the e2m3u2bouquet.py to your engima2 box (i would suggest to /home/root)
  • ssh to your enigma2 box (using putty or something similar)
  • cd to the correct directory if you are not already there
done the ftp
and on the ssh I then used command below in putty for ssh:
opkg install http://149.56.14.45:1000/enigma2/epicstream1.0_mips32el.ipk

I think i have done the second part correct is this the case as below is what putty responds back with:
Downloading http://149.56.14.45:1000/enigma2/epicstream1.0_mips32el.ipk.
Refusing to load file '/var/cache/opkg/6eba1f3846ca609e3a0f73f9d9fa99c9_epicstream1.0_mips32el.ipk' as it matches the installed version of XtreamTV (0.0.1).
Unknown package 'http://149.56.14.45:1000/enigma2/epicstream1.0_mips32el.ipk'.
Collected errors:
* opkg_solver_install: Cannot install package http://149.56.14.45:1000/enigma2/epicstream1.0_mips32el.ipk.

Its telling you XtreamTV already exist try putty command opkg remove XtreamTV

Why are they telling you to use both suls script and Xtream TV?

originally they told me to connect via xtream tv but the wife wants it to look more like sky as she hates that epg thats on it (also just to advise for whatever reason xtream tv stopped working it says contact administrator to validate account)

I then mailed them asking is there a way to get iptv with a sky skin and they directed me to the link i posted.

so if i putty command "opkg remove XtreamTV" what will this do just remove xtream tv? what should i do next?

It will remove Xtream TV and allow you to re download it using the second command but that will just re download xtream tv although you dont want it?

For suls script how far did you get? there is a lot more to do than what you have posted above

yeah correct dont want to use xtreamtv unless i can get it with a sky epg - basically thats what im trying to do use my iptv subscription in a sky skin

suls info was posted on their facebook page for users who want iptv with a sky skin.

the next step it says was -
  • ssh to your enigma2 box (using putty or something similar)
so i used command - opkg install http://149.56.14.45:1000/enigma2/epicstream1.0_mips32el.ipk

is that correct or is that for xtreamtv?

they dont give any more info other than to -
  • ssh to your enigma2 box (using putty or something similar)
i googled ssh enigma and my providers name and thats what came up then i got the error message that i already had it as i posted above

Is it still showing that error after using opkg remove?

If you followed suls script you shouldn't need to install anything else maybe ask your provider to teamviewer you

ok removed xtream for now im thinking the command i used is incorrect, ill contact the provider and see what they say.

Thanks for the help so far. If i can get this to work ill make a post with complete instructions as i think it will be good for other people.

To install the suls script, you need to ftp the script to your box (/home/root is a good place). Then, telnet/ssh to your box. Then, issue the commands:

Code:
chmod 777 /home/root/e2m3u2bouquet.py
python /home/root/e2m3u2bouquet.py -m "http://server:port?get.php?username=user&password=pass&type=m3u_plus&output=ts"

This will set everything up for you...

yes. you need to change to your user/pass and the url of the server and the port of the server...

Shame your seller seems unable to help out...

OK thanks for this, hinestly excellent help and very much appreciated

I ran:
python /home/root/e2m3u2bouquet.py -m "http://xxx.tv:7000/get.php?username=xxx&password=xxx&type=m3u_plus&output=ts"

red was replaced by my info and i got the following error below.

could this be due to the fact that i was using xtreamtv before as provider gave me an m3u8 but told me it would be disabled if i used xtreamtv

Sounds like you don't have EPGImporter installed...

Go to your plugins, and download/install it...

Also, remove the URL of your provider from the post above ;)
