iPTV trials

I now have an unlocked Mag256w1 and have tried a few free 24 hour test suppliers but have found that 24 hours is not enough time to throughly test the service.
I tried two last night during the live soccer match Juventus versus Real Madrid and during both matches and funnily enough at different times (I was watching on two different TV's) both froze and occasionally stuttered. One froze completly for the last five minutes of the match
These really are not good enough so is there anybody out there that can offer a really reliable service?
I do accept that occasionally we will get buffering etc but not to the degree I have been experiencing this especially when I am on fibre optic broadband
Thanks

24hrs isn't long enough.

Grab a months sub and find one that is stable enough.

No IPTV provider will have 100% uptime. It's how they respond to the inevitable downtimes that marks the best from the rest.

Glitches and stutters are always going to be there. Even card sharing suffers from that when packets hang between the sever and your box. I have a CLine and a IPTV sub and neither is glitch free on 35mps optic.

If you want 100% glitch free get a virgin cable sub, or a proper sky package and hope there's no thunder storms in the area.

Else find a provider (or two providers) that is stable enough 98 % of the time and live with a few glitches whilst you enjoy watching TV that would cost you 100s per month plus 3pm kick off and us channels that money can't buy all for a tenner.

Thanks for the quick response and I fully agree and understand that its never going to be clitch free but after my recent experience with my current iptv provider I'm really sceptical of many of them.
They cannnot all have different servers that they continually maintain so for me its finding a supplier that has nothing to do with my current one, which I know is a difficult task as I dont know where or who my current provider uses for their servers, so I guess as you say a months sub to fully try out the other aspects that I have had trouble with ie catch up stopping before the end of a program, lip sync so bad that you cannot watch a VOD and stuff like that
But thanks again for your response and any help and recommendations would be appreciated

How did you manage to eventually get your mag unlocked? I presume that if your supplier decides not to delete it from a server and you go to another supplier with the same server, you’re in trouble?

when a supplier adds the same mac it registers as already on the system. the provider then removes the mac off the system or the reseller contacts the provider for the mac to be removed. For STB EMU - you can change the mac to overcome this issue.

What if you’re reseller decides to be a d**k, over a dispute for example, and not remove your mag MAC address from the server. From my understanding of the mag, you can’t change your MAC address.

Another reseller/provider will be able to get it removed. Worst case - you just wouldn't be able to use that particular service.

There are more than one portal on a magbox and you can use any supplier you choose if the box is unlocked

whats a 'locked' magbox? - dont understand why they are being referred to as 'unlocked'

if sly find out, will they block the IMEI (mac)? :)

but you overcome this by either having the mac removed or creating another profile, right?

I cannot get my box to work at all tonight all it does is just sit there loading checked the isp speed on the box and states 2.15 yet my laptop is reporting 109mps Totally stumped

To unblock a mag locked by a provider you have to resort to a factory reset to clear the STB block.
Just done 3 boxes all locked by different suppliers in Spain.
Pain in the arse procedure and doesn't always work first time.
Seems to be a lot of boxes locked by providers out with you Benijofar in spain,Me and reaper went through this 2 years ago and some of the older mags would not unlock.

All 3 were locked by robbing fekkers charging in excess off 200 euros for a shite service.
All refused to unlock as they said they owned the boxes even though the bills stated box was paid for.
One was a 250 and 2 were 254 models and all running ok eventually with their new iptv subs.

prob provider issue due to footy being one?

my 2 have been a bit wobbly this evening.......................

I agree with you chets but yet again my iptv provider informed me it was my isp and not them I am beginning to think they might be a bunch of shysters except that i was running on a 24 hrs trial of another provider and that wouldnt work either
Just tested the box with its own speed test and its back to its usual 20mgs speed so really dont know who is to blame
