IPTVPlayer and Openvix 4.1

Hi
any help much appreciated, I've set up various boxes for family & friends on previous builds of Openvix from the plugins menu.

However on the latest build its missing, ive tried manually downloading and installing, both ipk file in tmp folder and launch via vix install local extension. Wouldn't load just got "syntax error"

tried installing an IPTV folder to FTP /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions.
the files wouldn't load FileZilla said over 600 files failed to load.

im now at a loss does IPTVPlayer work with the latest build ? , if it does how the hell do I get it working.

the box in question is a VU solo SE

yes that's what's causing the problem, older versions work fine
just can't get it to work on the 4.1 build
