IR Extender on skybox m3

Hi,
Hopefully someone can help me. I've moved my box out of sight and plugged the IR extend cable however it doesn't work. Is this a plug a play or do I need to do something.

Which IR extender are you using ?

I recently bought (2 days ago) this from eBay.

It'll take about 4-6 weeks to get here (already left China by surface mail), so will be able to tell you if it worked or not.

if it comes from china it will probly work for a day then fall to pieces lol says me with a skybox roflmao
