is there a button to jump page on epg on bluehd ?

Is there a way to quickly scroll down a page on the epg instead of press down 1 by 1 ?

i.e. page down ?

There has to be a way to change this so instead of 2 and 8, you use the proper page up / down buttons. This is the way it's set up on my box with Blue HD skin but it was pre-loaded when i bought it so not sure how it's done but i'm setting up one for my brother so need to try and figure out how to change it.

Yep, on mine too. But the box i've just set up, you have to use 2 and 8 :/

You need to edit the keymap.xml file. I haven't personally done it, but I had a look at it and it's pretty self explanatory. I think it is under "MediaPlayerActions" that you need to change.

I had a look at this file and there's a few hundred lines of code and it looks pretty complicated.

Look under "MediaPlayerActions". Swap these two entries "KEY_2" to "KEY_CHANNELUP" and do the same with "KEY_8" and "KEY_CHANNELDOWN"

Actually, I just thought - It's set up right on my box so i can just copy this keymap.xml file onto the other box and it should work.

I just tried this but it's only moving the date back/forward by one and not up/down the EPG?

Make sure the correct keymap is selected in info panel > Keymap Selection. Then restart the gui.

Sorry Jules so overwriting the file via ftp isn't it? I need to confirm the file again in settings? I had restarted.
