I've mad a mess of my PC install ubuntu alongside my windows 10 OS

Though I still can't see anything on screen.

On my laptop, F4 brings up monitor options. Maybe yours is set to second screen only.

I dunno how I fixed it but I basically reset all the settings possible and now I'm back at factory default. Luckily there was nothing that was irreplaceable on there, just would've been nice not to have to mess about reinstalling everything.
