so who's hooked yet, my good lady wife watches this like clockwork every week, so it will allow me time on the computer to chat here.
personally i think it is exploitation for the benefit for both louis walsh (music manager) and Simon Cowell (record Company Executive/owner), but that aside, if these people wish to have a little exposure then who are we to argue.
that being said, i think that one or two genuine talents shine through every year and as long as they dont think that they will be major stars for the long term, then whats the harm.
as for the new format, the person with the knowledge in this house (on everything, not just the X-factor), insists that there is less singing this year than others because of the "live" format every week. there was on really good singer/showman saturday gone
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4OyqqVmQlY]YouTube - Jamie Afro - The X Factor 2009 - Auditions 2 // August 29[/ame]
Jamie Archer is his name, he starts singing at about 1 minute 50 seconds if you cant sit through the usual stuff.
anyway does anyone have any opinions?
