AIBA world and European champion Katie Taylor produced a top-drawer performance to march into the European Union Women's Championships lightweight final with a 28-10 semi-final win over English champ Chantelle Cameron in Katowice, Poland, on Friday morning.

The Bray woman, boxing for the third time in four days, never looked back from opening up a 5-2 lead in the first round against the Northampton fighter.

'Katie was a different class. It's the best I've seen her perform. She was absolutely brilliant,' said AIBA director of boxing Dominic O'Rourke, who was ringside in Katowice.

Taylor, who is aiming for her fourth EU title in a row, will now meet Poland's Karolina Graczyk in Saturday's 60kg final.
