keycode for 6000cd rds eon

Hi there,

I have a familiar question after my car battery recently died and I had to jump start my mondeo. The stereo is a 6000 CD RDS E-O-N. My ford manual says the unit type is
FD 600A 1
Serial number MO41657
Key Code 2698

But the key code doesn't work. Can you help me?

2698 is the correct code for the radio.

Press pre set 1 repeatedly until you get 2
Press pre set 2 repeatedly until you get 6
Press pre set 3 repeatedly until you get 9
Press pre set 4 repeatedly until you get 8
Press and hold pre set 5 to accept the code
