Imagine piston as if it was oil seals it would burn off when engine running , oil on piston cannot burn off excess and stays wet.

Its not clogging up plugs yet but deposits are there.

We would throw a can of Lucas Oil Stabiliser into it when low as helps lube and lessens loss.

I did put some of the stabilizer in last week but do you think it's too far gone for that to really help now ?

It can reduce but not fix it and if you rally the car you will see more smoke , Some engines wear over time and wear quicker if no regular oil and filter change and level not dropped too low on the dipstick.
