Kodi on firestick help

Hi all

installed kodi then spmc ( as possible alternative ) on firestick but neither will stream ruya iptv, log in details are correct as when I try on laptop all is fine
are Amazon stopping it somehow or am I missing something
all I get is error message failed to play ( but will still play VOD ) ????
 
It's more than likely not working due to missing dependancies, Check the error log it should give more details as to why it is not working. Then go ahead and download any of the missing components

are you with BT? as default the home hub tries to 'setup' each new device it detects with its own webpage but this stops said device connecting to http until its setup
its easier to just turn off smart start in router settings, this fixed things for me
