Kryptview A780: No Display

received new box and no display except one small green dot in the bottom right corner.

anyone know what is wrong with this or what's this mean.

it will not do anything.

yes! i have, but i am unable to do anything at all. the box has power (small green light) but will not let me do anything else.

i have tried unpluging it on and off - no luck

Could be a faulty cap (capicitor).

Contact your supplier and explain the situation to them. Hopefully theyll sort you out.

If not, you`ll have to replace the cap yourself.

give box a light shake anything sound loose inside unit.

I have done that too, the box is not responding to the remote or manual. the power is there but no responce from the box.

just to let you know my problem is fixed. it was a bad firmware update.

I had the same problem. All I done was went through the whole flashing process again i.e. turn the box off, start the bin loader, turn the box back on, but with a different bin file.

Just to note, I again put the wrong bin file on but this time I'd noticed what someone had put in the help tips so make sure you put the latest bin file on if it happens to you which you'll also find in the help tips. Don't know how to add a page but the help tips are in the stickies!!!
