I am also getting stuck during the update. Have tried numerous times and crashed at various different stages.
I have not updated the box for a couple of years - does the box need to be flashed or should it update normally?

Try the update at non peak time i had to do mine at 0600hrs and it only took a couple of mins.

Tried all day yesterday no joy - But after Cinderella turned into a normal girl 00:00hrs i tried it went through first time in under a min . :) No Glitches Hooooorayyy

How to do it with remote through null cable.

You do not need the remote if you are using the null cable, load up the loader, select the .bin file and then turn off box click start and then turn box back on and it will start downloading latest FW for you. Factory reset the box and rescan selecting the appropriate area.

I had the same problem stuck on 99% for about 16 hours so I turned it off in the end.

If the process stops at any point at all whilst updating online abort then upgrade
More chance of success to update online from 12am and 8am.
