How do I see media content on my LG G2 that's connected to my router.
All on the same network
UPnP Media Server is enabled

I have a SSD connected to my asus router which hosts it as a media server. I can add/edit/remove media over the network from any PC and view it from my phone and other devices in them network.

The TV only shows me hard drives connection via usb on the TV.

How do I see this on the LG .

To view media content from your Asus router's SSD on your LG G2, you can use a media player app that supports UPnP/DLNA

AI Overview
Yes, you can use a media player app to view media content from an Asus router SSD on an LG G2:

Set up a media server on the Asus router

Connect the LG G2 to the same network as the router

Use the LG G2's Media Player app to select a device from the list and choose the content to play

Here's how to set up a media server on an Asus router:
Log in to the router's web GUI
Click USB Application then Media Server
Turn on UPnP media server
Name the media server
Select the media server path to share
Choose the media server's contents and click OK
Checkmark the shared content type

To access a USB disk connected to an Asus router, you can also use AiDisk. AiDisk combines FTP settings with the Asus DDNS service to share files.

IV done all that, media player only shows the usb drives attached to the TV.

And the SSD on the router is setup as above ,
It's viewable on my phone , tablet, pc etc .

Sorry if my reply didn't seem greatful, I've followed them guides and the SSD on the router has been setup for awhile ,

I should have gave more info , the TV used to see it , only thing I've down recently was reflash the router as 2.4 WiFi had stopped . I've restarted router and VM modem and reconnected Lan cables on the TV . And as said the hard drive is setup

I appreciated the help

I'll get back to trying to work the router SSD later,

Now on my PC Node 804 I have enabled media streaming and the LG is allowed connection. And the Node 804 shows up as a media server on the TV 1000003560.jpg
The PC has 7 drives ,
C: OS
And then D to I has movies , TV shows , music on them , problem is the TV only see content in the C drive nothing in Videos , until I transferred a file over and it located it.

I have enabled give access to the other drives and shared the path but the TV still only shows the C drive {videos) music Pictures playlists.

How do I get it to see the other drives

Installed Plex back on

But if anyone knows why only the C drive show up and not the other drives , thanks
Hi, I've googled this & found that you need to add the D drive folders to the Windows Media Player Library, I've tried this on my laptop with my LG oled TV, (I keep all my videos on the D drive).
I don't know if it will solve your problem, but it worked for me, so thanks very much, I would never have thought of trying this if I hadn't read your post.
Here's a screenshot from my laptop.

Sweet needs a bit of folder tweaking on the media server side , but works.

23Tb of Movies and TV takes a while to scan each time, I'll have to rearrange folders etc to speed it up. Thanks very much
