LG TV wont allow this to install https://apkpure.com/stbemu-free/com.mvas.stb.emu.free

I side loaded it and it all seemed okay but would not install and I got the error message
This app isn't comparable with your TV
My TV is an LG Smart TV
 
My Smart LG TV is not very receptive to the downloading of apps so i dont bother with that route any more - i use my aging mini m8s box - 5 years old.
however that box is tired - i am looking to replace it with a "mecool" or a "formuler" box, probably the latter - have no interest in games so the "shield" is not a contender for me - any comments?

Dedicated box is always best imo. Cheapest solution is Firestick and best remote control experience is formuler box

i have LG TV, your LG probably use webOS, smartiptv is its own app store.(LGs).

I don't think andoid apps are compatible. The apps in the LG app store aren't great.

As somebody mentioned firestick or external box is the route to go.
 
If you want the stb emu feel then you can download smart stb onto your tv from App Store and pay £26 for lifetime license.
No apk will LG tv as it’s not android tv
 
Much confusion here as OP said he sideloaded apk onto his firestick, but then confusingly states will not install onto his LG tv ?

So must presume he already has the 4k firestick.
 
It would appear that LG Smart TVs only like their own apps - they aren't an android tv - so don't give yourself any more grief - best cure a stand alone android iptv box -you can get the T95 with a mini keypad for a mere £31.99 from amazon - beauty of amazon is you can return it if you don't like it
