Live pause stopped working after reflashing.

I finally managed to brick my V8S on saturday while doing an epg update using an unformatted memory stick.
No problem as luckily I have a null modem cable and a serial port on this aging rig !!
All reflashed and setup again no problem :-)
The live pause has stopped working correctly ! The picture pauses but the sound carries on.
Any ideas from you experts out there ?

Download and install firmware No81 from Downloads
Using a formatted [fat32] usb key lol
Once installed--reboot box removing usb key--- then go menu--network settings---network upgrade--connect to ota server----now choose and install latest firmware for V8s---box will auto reboot on completion---now go menu--network settings--network upgrade--connect---download/install latest channel list for uk or ireland not portugese or spanish.
Box will auto reboot and you should be up to date and ready to go.[This should solve problem as now you can upgrade f/w and lists without usb key]

Done all that above and still have the live pause issue also no live rewind....
I did use a freshly formatted key on this occasion lol
