Thanks for reply @bonus2010. Is it just a case of typing in this when connect the unit back to car wiring. Had locked on the screen when removed the unit.

I don't know the history, maybe you've just bought the car, but a radio would have 'locked' displayed if someone has entered the wrong code.
Not to worry, if that's the case, it's a time lock so plug the radio in, leave the 'ignition' key on, and the display will change allowing code to be entered, usually after 30 minutes, sometimes an hour..

Well, that's how 'time lock' works, and you'll know right away if active, as the radio won't allow entry of code... when deactivated, use presets 1-4 to nudge up the code and use preset '5' to enter in the code.
