My daughter got this tv at christmas it works whitch is great but weve tried everything to try and play movies on a usb stick.mp1 /2 /4 in fat 32 dont know what else to do now so i thought i could ask on my favourite techkings site thanx sandog
thanx hi tech, ive tried mpeg1/2/4, it says in the manual that it will play mpeg1or 2
in fat 32. am i correct to assume, that all usb sticks are formatted to fat 32.so even if i put the usb in my drive and use freemaker it stays formatted in fat 32 or the other thing is maybe my computer uses ntfs instead of fat 32 i will keep on trying for the next few days then i think ill rack the brains of currys tech men
All USB sticks arent Fat 32, you have to make sure to format the stick to FAT32. Do you know how to do that? I know it is simple, but sometimes it is the simple steps we miss.
just right click the icon for the stick, select format, then on the new pop-up where it says file system, click on FAT32, then start the format.
Also, you may have to put the USB stick in before you power on the TV, also may have to press the "input~" button on the remote ans select "USB".
Here is the manual, try page 45
