Ah right. Can't say I've experienced that. I get the problem of not updating the app itself from within the app. So always update it through downloader when an update is available

Other people were getting the same issue, the dev said it may be something to do with the format of the EPG data.

For the offical app best to use offical playstore download. However this is not possible with most boxes.

Its a good idea (and essential on fire devices if you allow amazon to flood it with all their stuff) to keep devices cache/temp memory clean on a regular basis.
Running the cleaner feature (every so often) in Defsquid works well. Also if run immediately before selecting an app update (i.e.. implayer) then usually the update will install fine.

Easiest way to update implayer is to use downloader and install the latest version that way. Always installs without issue 👍🏻

update .....i deleted two of my playlists, now it runs 100% and doesn't crash.

maybe was a memory issue, or something weird with a playlist.

IMPlayer back as my goto player, with tivimate very close behind.
