Can a MAC address change just from changing the image??

I had a zgemma with sucmnsee build on it, IPTV was working fine through xtreamtv then I reflashed the box with wooshbuild & reinstalled xtream only to find MAC address was different????

you need to get your sub guy to change the mac then all be ok

Is it possible for the MAC address to change with new image though? Thought it was unique to specific box?

also the box has 2 mac id one is wifi the other is wired so will only change on box if you change from wired to wifi but as i said the app mac changed some after app update

Just like to add...

I had a zgemma with a mac address that was not unique. I purchased 2 boxes and both had the same mac. I bought a sub with an IPTV provider and so had to manually change the MAC. I wanted to try whooshbuild and noticed that the mac is reverted each time I apply and image (whooshbuild, ipabtv) I was still able to go in and change the mac but i suggest strongly that you record any mac you use for a sub. I also noted that switching between an ethernet device and a usb wireless device that the mac will again revert. I have yet to figure how to change the MAC for use with the usb wireless device and would appreciate any info available.
