MAG 254 Buffer setting

Hi

I have had my Mag 254 for a couple of days. I was watching football and it started freezing etc.
I changed the internal portal buffer setting to 3000ms which has sorted it.

My question is: I see there is another buffer setting on the Local settings menu which can from 1 to 15. What is this buffer? and should I put a value there is it is currently set to 0?

Funnily enough I was aware of the buffer setting in settings but of the internal portal buffer. Curious to find out where that one can be accessed?

I believe they preload the stream and play it back using the value set (i.e. 0 - 15 seconds). So that if the stream is interrupted it allows the playback to catch up without glitching or freezing as long as the interruption is shorter than the buffer period. I hope that makes sense!!
