Manually updating EPG

I don't leave the box switched on all night and therfore EPG doesn't automatically update. To manually update do I just go into Cross EPG settings and choose 'download now'? It seems to work but just wanted to check I was doing it the right way. If I do it this way will it overwrite previous updates or do I have to remove each update from the box somehow to keep space free?

so you dont have abm setup to download automatically either as box is off also,should not be a problem to run either when needed when a greyed out channel you see possibly moved and epg can be set to download 7 days events but check its still set for usb as sometimes it might default to flash=bad.
