My old Redmi 9 even though i dont use it much i did wonder if MAPS would work , i removed my Virgin mobile sim and other sim for photo storage.
Dont think phone will connect to outside but still gets messages and other stuff at home and flattens the battery
With my leather protective case on new phone it wont sit into the cradle but could use old phone without case for getting directions.
Only ever used Maps with a sim , hence the question and assume i will have to download the journey.
