Can anybody recommend a media player for playing files from an attached hd.?
I've recently tried playing videos from my hd and find the standard media player hard work when pausing a film and restarting it. its both tiresome and long winded.
have you tried it cause that just aint the case.press pause and un pause just doesnt work.it enters the play list, asks you if you wanna exit the player.maybe mine is faulty but its just awful to use

Not had any issues with recorded stuff or stuff I ftp over from my pc
Are you sure your using the default media player as I have never seen it ask if you want to exit it?
Green button> media player>media>ok>down to selected hard drive where media is kept>ok>pick my media file>ok everything is fine.....file plays ok....pause>ok pause again to restart?????????????????????????nothing
