mgcamd, newcamd files and all that

i have a newcamd file with CWS_KEEPALIVE = 60
and the second line starting CWS = etc...............................13 14
on my stick
are there others i need eg mgcamd if so what do ineed and where do they go on the stick? in the root? or where?

If you want to run Mgcamd, you'll put the "Newcamd.list" file in usr/keys. You will also need a working mg_cfg, without it, Mgcamd won't function.

If you want to run CCcam, you'll need to put the "CCcam.cfg" file in usr/etc.

Inside the file, you put your line in and just restart the CAM from the software panel.

Have you realised he's asked this in the sky box section they don't have ftp software the box is basic no need to add mg_cfg file it has to be done by usb but I can't remember how to do it ill have a look for reapers guide

Sorry, my mistake.

I posted in the wrong board.

I saw he mentioned root so assumed he had a box which required FTP.
