This is the list of the 30 most used keyboard combinations/shortcuts and hotkeys for Microsoft Word.

CTRL+B - Make letters bold.

CTRL+I - Make letters italic.

CTRL+U - Make letters underline.

CTRL+DEL - Delete the word to the right of the cursor

CTRL+BACKSPACE - Delete the word to the left of the cursor

CTRL+SHIFT+SPACEBAR - Create a nonbreaking space.

CTRL+C - Copy the selected text or object.

CTRL+X - Cut the selected text or object.

CTRL+V - Paste text or an object.

CTRL+ALT+V - Paste special



CTRL+SHIFT+< - Decrease font size one value.

CTRL+SHIFT+> - Increase font size one value.

CTRL+[ - Decrease font size 1 point.

CTRL+] - Increase font size 1 point.

CTRL+HYPHEN - Create a nonbreaking hyphen.

CTRL+SPACEBAR - Remove paragraph or character formatting.

CTRL+SHIFT+V - Paste formatting only

CTRL+Z - Undo the last action.

CTRL+Y - Redo the last action.

CTRL+SHIFT+G - Open the Word Count dialog box.



CTRL+L - Align selection or paragraph to the left of the screen

CTRL+E - Align selection or paragraph to the centre of the screen

CTRL +2 - Double-space all the lines in selection

CTRL +5 - 1.5 - space all the lines in selection

F7 - Run a spelling and grammar check

SHIFT+F7 - Use the Thesaurus

CTRL+SPACE - Toggle AutoCorrect

CTRL+SHIFT+8 - Toggle hidden characters that mark spaces, carriage returns, etc.
 
NOW I have to C&P to notepad and print the dang thing out!! I can't remember what I had for dinner let alone all those goodies for me keyboard. :p

well on American English keyboards with Windows XP... don't know what they might create in the UK or Europe. :willy nilly:
