Motor alignment issues.

Oh wow ok i thought it was 119cm. My installer managed to get all the signals back consistent today on it anyway. I do expect 8w to break up after 8pm I think a 1.4m would solve that issue but 1.1 is not bad from the midlands 7W bein channels are really solid no matter the time.
What about rain fade?

What about rain fade?
It handles light rain no problem but if it gets heavier then it breaks up. However now it’s been properly setup I’ll have to monitor that again but I expect a decent rainfall to cause it to lose signal other than that for a 1.1 in the midlands it’s fairly decent. I know someone who’s got even better results on a 1.1 in London without losing the 8w channels after 8pm but of course he benefits from being more south.

I have triax 1.1 sw uk 80 miles from London, badly affected by rain fade.

Hi everyone is it normal on nilesat 7w for my dish to lose a bit of strength and signal quality due to the heat my strength on down to 80% instead of 81% and quality went down.

Yes but normally I get solid 81% strength and higher quality not matter the time of day just wondering if my dish and moved or it’s the extreme heat it never goes to 80% strength.
Its atmospheric conditions stop worrying, There's been little to blow your dish out of alignment and your installer wont be back f.o.c next time I wouldn't expect

Just a little cloud cover could do that mate. 1% come on nothing to worry about.

I’m just saying it never hits 80% and my quality is lower than it is every other day and today is clear blue sky.
Just checked mine on 7/8 w and they are higher than usual which is unusual with heat and time of day.

Try yours in 2 days when the heat has subsided. If not your lnb maybe failing.
Good luck.

Are you saying you have 81% all the time ? Which channels we talking about here Bein ? 7 or 8w ?

Did you get a larger dish as your levels have been a lot lower

110cm Famaval dish with a inverto black ultra lnb

Yeah. I was thinking he had gone larger.
If I swap my 1.1M Famaval with a 1.2m channel master dish do you think I will see a significant improvement like 0.8db increase or would that increase be unlikely. I’m currently getting around 8.0db SNR on bein sports English on average throughout the day that increases to 8.6SNR during midnight hours. Then on 11013h bein arabic channels I’m getting 6.6db on average which is stopping below than early evening. With perfect alignment I can squeeze it to stay above 6.6DB later in the evening. If the 1.2 channel master will solve my issues I would definitely consider swapping. Let me know your thoughts thanks.

All i can say is the channel masters are quaulity and size matters for sat reception. I doubt anyone as tested a 1.1m Flavel side by side with a 1.2 channel master

I feel like my Famaval dish Azimuth has a tendency to move here and there hence why my strength and signal has shifted slightly weaker I know it has moved bein sports English on the stronger transponder is consistently at 80% strength and 60% signal quality SNR reading is consistent 7.8SNR whereas before this time of the day it would sit comfortably at 81% strength and 61%SNR around 8.2-8.4SNR. My main hope is that the channel master would be more sturdy and not move like this one does. Then the bonus of around a 0.8db SNR gain from my Famaval would be a great result for me. I’ve had two different installers realign my Famaval and tighten the bolts hard so I think it’s safe to say it just doesn’t handle wind well for fringe reception probably ok for stronger satellites.
