Motorised satellite out of alignment

Moving the whole rig will just move the alignment ie will still be wrong. What you do is make sure the whole rig is dead straight, with high winds the dish can move ever so slightly and a bugger to get right. If you get over 70 on all sats then who cares. Mine went out a few years ago so I tweaked usals by 1 for the west and minus 1 for the east. Works like a dream except when I forget the tweak. 😆
If I actually track the arc but slightly fine tuning WEST increases the Signals what would be the logical error
a) pole not plumb
b) dish off centre on motor
c) motor not zero to begin with.

d) motor moved on scaffold pole

If I have to move the motor on sats slightly west , why would a slight movement of the whole rig not fix the alignment.

Any of those three.

Not been up on roof yet , checking signals on the sats I use.

Right mainly because with a fine tune WEST 5 -7 presses I can improve all major sats I use for feeds biggest increase
16.0 70% to 88
sat signal on these

30w 94% can't get better even with fine tuning
0 .8w 76% to 88% Galaxy, sky news.

42e 82% to 94%

Did not try 7e feeds.
No increase in any sats moving them East.

Right strange , motor won't move from 16 east .
I went up tweaked it all got 88 on 0.8w
42e 94
30w 88
28.2 99%

Checked 16.east 70-88 on TP I need,
This was on my xtrend 8500
That was the last sat , but suddenly the motor won't move to any other sat , only 16e

Rebooted box Vix atv still wont move, , tried GT media and . Ideas

It's got power cables all good and can manually move it with the button.

You still getting a signal on the last sat it was on ?

Dont remember the make of your motor have a look for a reset hole in motor body.

Tm2600 motor , yes turn receivers off and on and signal still good , went in to sat finder and can move dish from 16.0 to 13.0 back and forth with lock but won't move to any other sats.

Gyes there is a reset button , greenlight is on , and can manually move it east and west , do I send it to zero manually then press the reset button

Yes, get it to zero then reset.
Are you sure the connections are good as the motor will manually work pressing the buttons even if the f conns are bad.
Make sure no limits have been enabled by mistake and all sats are set to usals

Not actually sure what happened, , it wasn't saying limits enabled in positioner setup. I had been in the menu checking the fine tuning maybe I pressed something

Sent it to 0.00 and heard it move so then sent it to 28 2 all ok ,

I pressed blue and saw limits enabled and then red limits OFF. Just to see what it does.

Curious if setting limits on one receiver , would it affect the motor on an other receiver. As both boxes where stuck in 16-13east

The answer would be yes as your entering the
Same longitude and latitude settings for usals
Hopefully you will not have to reset your motor
The reset button is on the right press with a pin for five seconds until light flashes from red to green
