Movies on H2S

Hi there,

Received delivery of my zgemma H2S last week and really can't believe how good they are (with the sub)!.

I do, however, have seem to created another issue.
My daughter must watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at least twice per day as it is stored on our sly box (recorded from channel 5).
I have looked at several threads but there doesn't seem to be an decisive conclusion on whether you can take recordings from a sly box and import to a zgemma...If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know as all my recordings on my sly box are from FTA channels.

In an effort to get around this, I thought about buying a DVD and ripping it to the zgemma.
Does anyone know if this would work or where to transfer it too? (I guess it would mean using filezilla)??

Unfortunately the film isn't available on the iptv links...it is there but it is a dead link :-(

Many thanks

Pretty sure you can't rip recordings from a sly box as they are encrypted.
You could get a DVD but would need a PC/Mac with a DVD drive, DVD ripping software that removes the copy protection and also encoding software to turn the vob files into a avi/mp4/mkv file.
If you have a android tablet you will be better off installing kodi onto it and using 123movies/exodus/salts etc to stream the film

Download it off the pirate bay and put it on a USB Hdd or USB stick.

Play it through your Zgemma or directly through a USB port on your TV (depending on how old it is)

Hi
Depending on the image flashed iptv is available in the plugins and all kids movies and tv shows are ready avaiable, most in HD.

Funnily enough a mate of mine was saying last night that he had seen it on his H.2S's IPTV links at FILMOVIZIJA ...

Cheers,

I can't remember whether that was one of the ones I tried or not.
I know I really miss Exodus as that has most films at pretty decent quality too.

Is Pirate bay still going?
I used to use Extra Torrents but it was closed down.
Now I can't seem to find any torrent sites.
Any others that you use?

Just download the film from a torrent site and put on a USB. You should be able to watch it on zgemma then.

if you have a hard drive connected you can copy the file from usb (once you have it) to the movie folder.

Or if you find it on iptv, you can change the recorder/layer option to download the file rather than just streaming, again it will save to your movies folder.

If you have it on DVD you need to rip it to your PC then you can send over to the movies folder through FTP/Filezilla. DVD Shrink is something interesting to take a look at for this purpose for free - lots of other options though.

Don't even need filezilla the zgemma can be set up as a samba share and you can just drag and drop files across in windows

Set up a Samba share of your recordings folder on your h2s and make it the download location of Exodus on your PC/Android device. It works great!
