Anyone tried one of these babies yet. I am due a new box and keep seeing a lot of positive reviews about these and supposedly they are very fast. Thoughts please.

From what ive been hearing on twitter they seem a competent box. Alot of rave reviews for its bigger brother though, the hd51 with 4k compatibility, plus they can run full kodi installation, and its only 6 seconds for it to restart the gui - which must sound good for urself what with the constant reboots u do with skin designing [emoji2]

I've had one to try for a few weeks now, speed wise I find it the same as the H.2S, as said before the remote feels like a kids toy from poundland, only one USB slot if that's important, mine came with vix installed and I did a software update on it and it went in to boot loop lol I then installed ATV and after a week I did a software update and same again lol I did one yesterday on ATV and it was fine. On hindsight I would have bought the Edison version next time round, but there is a lot of love out there for mutant boxes, same as I'm a Vu+ fanboy lol

I've got a couple of Mutants for people I've given them too and I think they are great IMO, I guess it's down to personal preference but from when I've used it I loved it! :-)

HD51 with the 4K option too is something a lot of people seem to love.. :)

Got one for my next door neighbor with new version of Vix pre flashed, set it up from scratch and have had no problems at all
I am a [email protected] fanboy tho', I own a HD2400 and its been really reliable, I must be honest and say that the 1500 doesn't appear to have the same build qualities and only one usb port sucks

ive just got a mutant 1500hd. Its not a bad boy. tbh i dont see much difference in it and the zgemma and the zgemma is cheaper. It is virtually the same format as the zgemma when you down load its blue skin. The only complaint i can find about it so far is the epg text is quite fine, Not good if you have eyesight problems.

Kodi and the likes? Yes its shoite but thats life, its not an android box and so its not going to behave like one.

Is it faster than a zgemma ill try thing of something this weekend that can speed test it but tbh if i have to think about it then its not worth talking about

Just my opinion

Bought the hd1500 when it was £79 and for me picture quality is on a par if not better than OSMINI which it is marketed against.
Running with openvix and your excellent slyk skin it's great value for money even at the £99 price it is now.
Yes only one usb but I only use one.
The remote is not bad as people make out.
I would edge the OSMINI ahead purely because of built-in WiFi.
I have purchased the HD51 and will be looking forward to testing that out....

i got one from Fr Christmas as my first venture into enigma. I am a novice and have been really impressed so far. easy to setup and mange and just as quick as the official sky box it replaced. the only drawback is the one usb and it you are one for changing images etc then it might be an issue otheriwise its no issue. have been able to manage all my content with ease (even as a complete novice). using filezilla, esettings plus and echannelizer have all been straight forward. Kodi direct works as well as on any other box that runs kodi direct.
in addition my technophobe partner and the little people in my house can have made a seamless transition form the sly platform

Hi, I’m venturing into this as a beginner as not renewed vermin this year. Can anyone direct me to the relevant link that will help me set up a hd2400 with twin DVBC tuners I’m assuming it is the same as the 1500? Also is this box still well supported or I’m I better off passing on and getting a zgemma or mag etc? I will need a dummies guide as have one to play around with and would like to set it up so that I can retain the VIP package I have been use to for past year?!...Cheers
