My road to multi sat (motor)

looks really good @siilver , I'm very impressed,
did you move the dish a little also.?
there are some good channels on 19
not so much on 13, but still worth having for the times you need/want it
I watch quite a bit on NC+ sport , its in Polish, but imho, sport can be watched satisfactorily without commentary,
I can see what is happening, I dont need someone else to tell me, or give me their opinion

Didn’t really need to move it. I tried to move it but the signal did go up
Haven’t seen that channel yet

I’m starting to think, my cable is letting the service down.

Short standard cable to old box, while setting up box in garage I was getting 83 but checked h7 with shotgun cable, signal went down to 60 odd.

I'm currently getting 98/99% on 28 , about 30m from dish, maybe more, I'll check 19 in a minute
85/86% on motogpHD on 19

when I first got mine set up, that channel was very hit and miss, it must be one of the weaker TPs, I now get it at about 50-60%,
but it doesnt glitch even at that level, for some reason
oh, I currently dont get any 13 channels, lol , I hit my LNB arm with ladders last week while taking them to van, :(
so need to get them back out and tilt the arm back again,,,

Easy done

It’s harder with the arm, it can bounce all over the show

BBC1 NW I'm getting 85%
I'd say you just need to tweek 19 a bit more, then work on 13, I can get 28 for a massive range of movement on the arm, but there is a sweet spot where all the TPs seem to even out more, with just a few higher than the rest

Yea still a working at it.

Tomorrow I will narrow the19 bracket a bit more, the head not in the way the bracket is

Signal on 13 on bbc earth hd is 41 then not locked
Bbc world new is 23 and is perfect
 
how I originally done mine was,
19 centre [ish on my dish]
tune that first, moving dish sideways and elevation, LNB bracket very slight tilt
then move 13 inwards for best signal, once highest signal achieved, tilting LNB bracket up and down for highest signal, finally skew,
28 was the last one I tried as it was continually getting good signal anyway
 
Original I worked out the middle of directions of 28 and 13, so the dish was right in the middle.
But I couldn’t get it working
 
went out this morning and grinded down the side side of my new bracket
i took off about 4mm of it, so i can move 13 more to the middle

but i was starting to think 13 isnt really worth it

But after some messing I did a channel scan

Total channels 4234

19 - 1436
28 - 972
13 - 1826

So I think I will need to upgrade my dish (@linesman66)

If these are all Satellite TV channels, then why would you need a bigger dish.
Blind scan each Sat and see what you get.
I blind scanned these last night,
13E - 1397
19E - 975
28E - 804
Total - 3176

I was just doing auto scan and checking the numbers after it changed sat.
Take it is radio and all
 
Changed my DiSeC 4x1 switch there
From a random one to a technomate one

Here is the changes in percentages, I’m pretty happy with that

good result,
I still think you could get your 19 and 13 up a bit more without much sacrifice to 28
or
if it is all perfectly watchable, then just leave it as it is,
