Installed wooshbuild on a box to see what it was like but preferred previous build. In the process off removing build my box froze and when I turned it back on was at the easy setup menu for wooshbuild I have tried reflashing the build but instead of flash it says USB update and keeps going back to wooshbuild, and off course when I tried to use wooshbuild to get back into it the install crashed saying that it didn't zip have tried all I know can someone please help as at the moment box is useless
 
How exactly did you try to remove the build?
Did you make a backup of whatever you were running before you flashed wooshbuild?
 
simply flash over the top of of whats ever on the box, no need to remove anything as it is cleared when flashed, use the nightly build as richsimpson says or flash with a backup
 
Nope didn't work tried with two USB pens and still didn't flash

It's just saying USB update instead of flash and won't work any ideas
 
has the usb got the right info on it - is it set to a force instead of no force file in the folder structure.

Have you got it in front and all other usb devices removed?
 
When it says USB on the box have u tried pressing the front power button to start the flash?
 
IF the image you are using is correct for the box & is set to force then it will flash, IF you have used it before on other boxes of the same model & it now wont flash then is will be because you left the usb stick in the box after it had flashed & booted up fully (the box will change the usb stick IF left in on full reboot, the answer now is to prep the usb from scatch then load image)
 
Djgarf I owe you a pint, worked pressed the power button when USB piped up and worked straight away cheers mates, thanks everyone else for the help
 
The reason it was doing that as one of the files on your USB stick was named noforce
You can change its name to force and it auto starts the flash without the power button being pressed
