hello gentlemen,
first off this is my first post so please be gentle, i have been reading a bit about this 7 day epg for my box looks like its pretty new, this would keep the wife very happy as the 7 day guide was the only thing she hated about these boxes so if i can get this working ill be in the good books for a change👍
my qustion is i looked in the setting where to add this but on mine it only has time and date settings not time date and epg, am i looking in the wrong place or do i have the wrong box?
or maybe an update is needed?can anyone confirm this please!

oh ok,but its better than nothing no? also would a sw update if ones available make the box more stable, mines not very stable at the momment!
and sorry one final thing if i update software will i lose all settings on the box,like sub and that?

When you say not very stable...how do you mean....glitches and picture breakup aren't the boxes fault and could lead to a topic we can't talk about due to forum rules.
If BBC/ITV etc are stable its definitely not a box issue
 
ok thanks, i guess its not a box issue then, because they are always on, its been off a few hours now, on and off on and off! th wife is getting on my back over it!!

Sounds like your box is functioning ok, next thing to do is check your internet connection. I had loads of problems recently and when I reset my modem and HOMEPLUGS, the problem was solved. If that all proves unsuccessful you need to move to the next link in the chain....
 
Thanks for your reply my friend, since my last post i updated the firmware to the latest one, reset everything and started from scratch, put all details in again and it came on straight away and has not gone of yet, that was a few hours ago and that is good considering what it was like! I did originally think it was network related but i have a 200mg connection, i reset modem and homeplugs and it made no diffetence, hopefully new firmware will have made a diffetence, fingers crossed
