Hello,

I have bought a Kryptview A850 box from a friend of a friend (2nd Hand).

I have deleted all channels and reset the box back to factory settings.
It seems to be working ok on most channels.

From reading through the posts on the forums it appears that it has an old firmware on it:-

Model: C Model
Hardware: HV.10.00.00
Software: SV.102.07
Software Date: May 26 2014
Boot Version: H355

Could someone tell me if I need to upgrade by downloading the latest firmware onto USB Stick. Just I have tried the internet upgrade option but it doesnt appear to do anything.

Also see in forums that an outdated firmware version can cause this.

Thankyou for that. SHould this now be able to update itsellf from the internet if required ?

Just I have selected the 'Internet Upgrade' option but it doesnt appear to anything apart from freeze the box. End up having to switch the power off on the back and back on again to rebot it.

I would of thought that a message would of came up saying "download in progress' or 'Already Updated' or something along them lines, but nothing at all.

Most channels seem to be working all ok.

forums are notified of both ways either a file in downloads or online update.they fecked up with the server as it is supposed to say " already updated no surprise there lol.
