Hi Guys,

I have been through previous forums but things get very complicated very quickly.

I have a V8S Openbox, i have a Gift provider who has provided me a test line i have entered the details into MGCAM Setup, Newcamlist option, all details entered in correctly and ethernet cable plugged in and all non sub channels working fine, however all subbed channels are either getting no signal or scrambled?

Can anyone advice me where am i going wrong and what is a N line,? do i have to enter the code onto a USB stick via my PC and upload that way also?

No signal means a channel list needs update menu> network upgrade> ok to connect> ok on tp prog> ok on uk list> yellow for upgrade
let the box do the work and once rebooted, press fav on the remote and try the channels again
 
Clone new box then mate if getting error message.
Garyth is correct you need a channel list I will link you to it now.

Some reason link hasn't gone blue copy that to Google it will take you to the channel list.

Your http error when trying to connect to the network is the reason why you can't access your premium channels. You need to sort out your internet first. How are you connected?

Right guys i am about to start a manual USB channel list update on my box, seems like a clone from all i read. Can anyone also advice who can supply 24 hour test details to test also please?

I am now going to try the link Dilly suggested. Do i just add the two attachments onto a USB and then load onto box?
 
Anyone help with my openbox v8s. The epg from the xmltv was working. I then had a power cut & it doesn't want to work anymore it keeps coming up with the incorrect date from 1903. I have tried updating the epg again & switching the box on & off & still the same. Any ideas on how to fix it?
 
Looks like my box is a fake, reading a few forums and looks like its a copy, can i still get this setup? ...Struggling.

From reading up on here i think yes you can get it running, but i personally don`t know how. someone will help you out though :)

You don't need to update firmware if box is new mate.
Yes it will be a clone but... They will still work.
Go to the link I posted download the tp-prog file (channel list).
Format your USB and add the channel list you downloaded (unzip before if needed)
Add USB to box
Menu
Upgrade by USB
Tp-prog
Highlight
Yellow to read
If you have already done a manual scan your channels will now be updated and in a order.
Movies
Sports
Etc

Clones can still work you just can't upgrade the firmware using the official software.
Unfortunately nearly every openbox Skybox online eBay amazon etc are clones.
 
Ok, looks like it has done that, what was i expected too see? Chose tp-prof and selected yellow to upgrade, now shows TP prog as OK.

do i just need test gift now to test?
