Just to let people know there is an error in my skin.

In general.xml there is a stray 'S' after (er... or maybe before)

This wasn't picked up when my box was playing nicely, but it crashes my box now. And as boxes are dropping like flies at the moment, I am a little bit paranoid ;)

Hopefully I will be able to upload a new IPK file with the corrections later. I can't upload a new IPK file just yet as I have restructured some of my templates, so things are a bit all over the show at the moment.

If all goes well tonight, I will be back on this tomorrow.
 
thanks, but chill - I am sure you will sort it, we all take a risk downloading/installing stuff BUT few of us spend as much time as you are doing trying to help others - either because we are numpties or because we think sod it, why should we.

Thanks for the effort that you put in. Just wanted to ask in your pictures illustrating the new skin, the channels numbers are shown on the info bar but on my skin after installation does not bring out the channel number. For eg if i typed in 101 on my remote, it takes me BBC 1 and when i press the info button, it still shows bbc... and the programme info and others but not 101.

I have just installed Sly1k skin, on Open ATV 5.1 its much better that open vix bluehd. I have 1 problem though if anyone can help. on page 1 of this thread there is a screenshot showing the infobar on the infobar you can see the BBC1 picon whereas on my infobar i cannot see the picon. Am i missing a setting. Thanks

I have just opened the infobar.xml as shown on post #184 but it alrady shows that same code that is on post #184 so i shouln't need to edit it or do i, but i still dont have the picon showing on the infobar.
 
Ftp the picon folder to hdd main folder.

graphical infobar epg settings.
change service title mode to picon and service name.
then graphical epg settings.
change service title mode to picon and service name.

Then channel selection settings.
show picons In service list. Change to yes

instead of just speed reading...actually read what I write.

To easily edit xml files download a free xml viewer. XML Wrench is what I am using at the moment. Then you just need to remove the comments <!-- -->

who wants me to include a bootlogo graphic in my IPK file.

Yes that looks great I thought the only way to add them was too ftp the bootlogo mvi what about a radio one as well something similar but slyk radio
 
After I installed an openvix image, I can't get rid of the bloody openvix world of sateliite picture.
I have tried usr/share, I have tried etc/enigma2. Logomatik software doesn't over write it. Its doing my nut in. Idiots

** edit... after a few reboots, it seems to have been replaced now **

I think it's to do with the imagversion file not sure how scumnsee managed it but all I do now is uploaded bootlogo and backdrop mvi to overwrite he's

Glad it's sorted
 
As for the radio backdrop, when I get round to this is will be a dark background, nothing worse than trying to listen to relaxing radio at night with a glaring white screen blasting out
 
suggestion: moving channels

(i.e) channel 5 HD don't work. When moving channel it doesn't (highlight) when selected, although you can move it.
 
I get what you mean but it's pointless moving channels around because abm will move them back plus if your getting channels like that then you haven't set providers properly
 
yes but he might want to move them into his own bouquet that then doesn't get delete ;)
