I am no where near my box, but from memory when in epg screen press menu I think you will see something saying grid change that,
 
even in epg text mode, that should have the proper colours and layout. Something isn't right with that.
 
Many thanks everyone for your comments; it was indeed as dsayers2014 said, and it was set to Text; changing to graphics, and dropping the lines to 8 got the desired effect.!

But that did fix it!; I switched to Graphics mode, and it worked; have no idea how it got to the wrong mode in the first place; just did a clean install on Zgemma 2s on OpenATV.

Really appreciate the help all.

1.57 is the one you should be using. A few little tweaks on the movie infobar needed but nothing major. See post 399. There is always 2 incase there is something wrong in the latest and you can then just go back to the previous version

.. And the full height epg is slightly broken. Its calling in the wrong template. (must have been broken for a least the last 5 updates that. This is a quick fix when i get some time this week.

Has anyone lost picons on sky2 and Eurosport? They were there yesterday but gone now in epg

Scrap that, loads have gone. Sky Atlantic, Sky living. Plenty more. Skin issue or something else?
 
nothing to do with skin issues picons move all the time (Service Reference Picons) when channel frequencies move
best using snp picons as they dont

v1.571 now added.
corrected the epg template.
Pretty much finished the movie player. ( i tweaked the part played icons to orange but I dont think they work as orange so will probably go back to light blue. also the markers behind the progress bar could do with being a pixel smaller)

For people that are very familar with the movie player can you let me know if I have missed anything. Its not something I use, so I might have missed a few things.

only 164 elements still left to do. ( i have discounted abouted 50 of them that I didn't need to do)

Radio is next...

And after banging on for so long on how I like my heavily tweaked MetrixHD skin, I really am genuinely tempted to ditch it and go with this for a while.

PS - you have text over hanging a button on the screen where you initialise a new hard drive. That's the only "mistake" I found. lol
 
My build i was running in october wasnt showing the timeshift box. I had to reflash to get it working again. Do you get one on pausing normal tv. There is an option somewhere to show hide seekbar. Maybe changing that will kick it it. But my initial thought is its a build bug and will probably fixed if you were using a new image and not an old one
