Couldnt find the EMP in plugins menu, but found it by saying yes in dvd player to show it on main menu and have now disabled it and have my file lists now lovingly skinned. U sir are a gentleman and i have to congratulate u on this beautiful skin [emoji2][emoji2]

Just one request (can u remove the comment tags in infobar.xml for the picons in both infobar1 and infobar2 sections) for the next update please? As when i update to latest version i have to ftp into folder to modify it myself each time.

EMC - To be honest I do very little recording or watching of movies. (in fact I do very little of anything because of this bloody skin design ;) ) I have never used emc but looking at all the settings in it, it just seems like a massive overkill. Record something. Watch something. Why does it need a million options.

Picons on infobar... It was the general disliked on here as a lot of people don't actually use picons. So just having my slyk logo floating above the infobar was a bit pointless. Unfortunately they are staying out for now, so you will just have to keep removing the comments to put them back in.

Hey Kiddac, just noticed the latest release has the whole ABM Plugin folder within the Slyk-1-hd folder, is that required or just an accidental cut and paste?!
 
hello have done a lot of reading on this and great work kiddac :) is there a link to download the latest sky skin u have made and instructions how to add / change from the one i always have

trying to read your message. I can't it's upside down.

Well looking at that message you seem to have some sort of bootlogo plugin installed. My skin brings in radio.mvi for the radio select. Therefore by the looks of it, it is clashing.

Right, my uncompressed files are currently taking up 11mb offline. Which makes an IPK package of 3.3mb This is quite big and probably taking up quite a bit of your spare memory once installed. My mission tonight is to compress and tidy up everything and to get my offline files down to at least 5mb and the IPK down to 1mb. (no probs) ;)
 
Kiddac on the Dropbox what skin was we ment to download ? I downloaded the bottom one all looked the same and put it on box all working and all I can say is thanks for all hard work will buy u a beer big difference from last skin

skins have version numbers on the newest is always the highest number. There are always a least a couple of versions incase there is a reported bug in my latest upload.

EPG. press menu on that page and change it to graphical and not text. There are other settings in there you can tweak if you wish.

Fix. Uninstall the bootlogo plugin I presume.

Thanks ive now managed it. I also had to increase the service width value to 250 and i decreased the time scale to 120 mins as the programmes were too clustered for my liking.

Is it possible to do something similar to what i used to have on skyhd that highlighted programmes in HD as having the text colour to be yellow. This could probably be done by parsing the info from the epg data for [HD] tag and then input into the relevant xml file?

Just downloaded and installed - very nice! But i've previously f****ed around with bootlogos in usr/share and it's using them as default instead of yours. How do I change so yours are default?
 
I don't have any bootlogos embedded in this skin. There are two in my download folder. Use xorionbootlogomatik (also in my download folder) to install. Probably best to install the 1280 one but in xorionbootlogomatik set it to 1920. The 1920 one is very sharp but very power hungry.
 
So I just spent the last hour cleaning up all my templates and all my graphics. I started with 11.4mb for my offline version.

The grand total now is

2.7mb (wow) So basically I have reduced the size by a whopping 75%

Just hope to god all these compressed PNG graphics now work on my box.
